Rain Man was a very bizarre film about a boy who does not think he has a brother but when his farther dies and leaves 3 million pounds with a random person he is intrigued and investigates to get his share of the money. But it turns out that this random person isn't that random and is in fact his autistic brother Raymond. When Charlie ( the not autistic brother) kidnaps his brother a bond forms together and rather then being a kidnapper he decides that he wants to spend the rest of his life looking after his brother.
As I have said before it is a very bizarre film and is quite hard to follow, it also seems to be a very old film because the photography is poor and a bit grainy, you can also tell because Tom Cruse is young.
I very highly rate this film and I hope that if you ever decide to watch it that you enjoy it very much.

Frankie's thoughts on: Ways to live forever
Ways to live forever is a very realistic book on a boy with a horrible disessease, what really got to me was the fact that in scrawled writing on the back of the book it says " by the time you have read this book I will be dead". It's quite comforting though because in the first few chapters he says " death is a gift from he whom sits on clouds so you can forever be with him". It is quite an atheist book although i would not not recommend it to Christians. This is a truly great book as it opens your eyes to the life outside your own and that not everybody's perfect.

P.S. I am really looking forward to reading the sequel "season of secretes"

Love Actually
Love Actually (15)
Yep. So. T'was about 5 days after the birth of Christ in 2013 when my father turned the T.V on, located the remote from under the sofa where it was chilling with the fluff-balls and turned on this movie. To start off with, I had no idea what my father was playing at, but I guess it was a bit of a surprise.
When Bill Nighy struts on and starts singing in his flat, but somewhat entertaining singing voice which is closely followed by a string of swearwords, you know you're up for a treat.
It is an absouletly hilarious film and highly recommend it to anybody about my age and above. It is a rude film with bad language and some scenes of a yucky nature, but the plot is hilarious and you are guaranteed a treat! Give it a shot!

Frankie's foughts on Cyber-bully
Cyber bully is a movie about a girl in her teens who gets bullied on her new laptop.
She meets this so called guy who makes friends with her and then says horrible things about her witch affects her at school as well as on her laptop.
There are some distressing scenes though.
I think most kids that are allowed should watch it as it opens your eyes to the risks of the internet.
age rated 12

frankies thouts on angus thongs and perfect snogging
This movie is all about a girls called Georgia trying to catch the eye of a new boy to the school who she thinks is hot!!!! Thoae he is going off with her arch rival! It is a very funny movie but as you can probably tell from the title a lot of snogging!!!(gross) but over all or is a ferry good movie full of all the embarrassing bits most teens come across. Very good rating 4.5 stars but not really suitable for younger viewers as certified 12 and is a bit inappropriate at parts

Frankies foughts on: Moonrise kingdom
suzy and sam together |
Moonrise kingdom is a weird wacky movie about two 12 year olds who are in love and want to live together for the rest of there lives, only the problem is that suzy has really strict parents and both of them have to run away though its not so hard for sam as he is at scouts. It is really funny in a weird way.
I would rate it from ages 9 to adult

Mia's Musings: Jaws
BEWARE: THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH
It was relatively gruesome.
It is set in Amity Island and started off with a woman getting attacked at the beginning, but it really sucks because you don't get to see her left-overs. The chief of Police, Brody, wants to shut down the beaches, and then another incident happens. One by one, people are going down, getting eaten by the Great White Shark. There may be other sharks that get accused, they maybe some scary scenes, but in the end, Jaws gets his comeuppance.
5/5 stars, it may be dated, but it is an extremely good movie with gruesome bits added. Have your pillow at the ready. Also, you here the famous Jaws song on numerous occasions.
I recommend it for people over the age of 10 unless gruesome things don't scare them and they promise to go back in the sea again.
