Mia's Musings: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Before I begin this post I would like to say I am no way a Twi-hard. I went through a phase in Year 5 (?) where I read the books and was completely obsessed. I look back on those day and wonder in awe what I found so fascinating about a sparkly man that ran like a chicken with a gormless looking Bella hanging off his back.
When Frankie booted up Amazon movies and selects Breaking Dawn Pt 2, it was groans all around. I had seen this film in cinema with a few of my friends, and at the time had thought it was good. Not amazing, good. I wanted to watch it again,  maybe to see if I was wrong, or maybe purely for the fact there is a decent fight at some point.
On comes some weird soppy, lovey, vampiric music and the first credits start appearing. At this point I already have my head in my hands. Despite this, I survived the 5 minutes of endless opening credits and was welcomed by the image of a heavily airbrushed Kristen Stewart.
I did actually watch the film.
It contains a lot of snogging which I don't particularly like, as you may be able to tell from the pile of invisible puke besides the sofa, and also is just too... lovey. Despite this, it has good fight scenes and the special effects are OK.
On this occasion I think the age guidelines are appropriate and the movie is OK but not amazing. Factoring all of this into account, I would give it a total of 3 out of 5 stars.
